Residential Play Structures > Installation

For The Kids Backyard Store, installing a play structure is not simply coming to your back yard and building a fort. We take great pride in both the initial setup and the long term expectations of the equipment.

The first (and most important) step is leveling. Most yards, especially in the Northwest, are not level. The entire playzone doesn't need to be perfectly level, but the area that supports the structure (e.g. fort posts, swing supports) should be level. In addition, we place concrete pavers under each post to add stability. For most yards this is included in the installation price. Some yards, though, have more slope or special needs which might require additional site preparation. Please feel free to Contact Us for a complimentary site visit if you have any questions or concerns about your area.

After the site is level, the structure is then assembled and staked into the ground. Concrete is seldom necessary, except for high wind areas and special circumstances. Backyard Adventures make the highest quality residential play structure available. We feel the installation should be of the same high quality.
